Police investigating the shooting of a five-year-old boy in a school playground were today considering the possibility that he could have been struck by a stray bullet from a hunter’s gun.

Police officers in Northern Ireland are today preparing to interview pupils, teachers and parents about an incident where a five-year-old boy was shot in the head in a school playground.
