PLANNING permission for a new National Children’s Hospital on a site adjacent to the Mater in Dublin city centre will be lodged within two weeks, the government confirmed yesterday.

THE decision to choose the Mater site in city centre of Dublin was made on both financial and clinical grounds, the Government said yesterday.

Designs for the national children's hospital must be passed on to planners immediately, a leading charity has said.

A TEAM of international experts committed to a review of plans to build a new national children’s hospital on the Mater Hospital campus are not required to visit the controversial site.
