A Somalian man is facing two charges of attempted murder after he was shot by police while attempting to enter the home of a cartoonist who outraged many Muslims with his depiction of the Prophet Mohammed, Danish security sources said.

The men arrested on suspicion of plotting to kill one of the 12 cartoonists behind the Prophet Muhammad drawings were two Tunisians and a Dane of Moroccan origin, Danish police have revealed.
