Jake Clemons is taking the time between Springsteen tours to play some solo gigs in Ireland, writes Ed Power

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival got into full swing last night on a weekend which will see almost 1,000 musicians from 18 countries performing in various venues around the city.

Bruce Springsteen said band mate Clarence Clemons’ stroke was serious and he is going to need a lot of help to get back to his former self.
