An inquest into Rachel Peavoy's death from hypothermia in her Ballymun flat has heard that she had not eaten for three days.

DUBLIN City Council has denied that the heating system in a Ballymun flat in which a mother-of-two died of hypothermia had been switched off.

THE doctor representing the family of a 30-year-old mother-of- two who died from hypothermia in her council flat, has called for an independent inquiry into her death.
