North Korea has secretly and quickly built a new facility to enrich uranium, according to a US nuclear scientist.

An unofficial delegation of Americans who visited North Korea said today they had toured the country’s disputed Yongbyon nuclear facility.

The Bush administration says it will try to use diplomacy to deal with North Korea’s claim that it has produced enough plutonium for about six nuclear bombs.
