AMANDA Knox and her lover Raffaele Sollecito turned to a convicted child killer and a mobster in their bid to overturn their convictions for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher at the weekend.

Rudy Guede was tonight found guilty of killing Meredith Kercher, while former lovers American Amanda Knox and Italian Raffaele Sollecito will stand trial for the murder.
