Dracula's castle will have overnight guests on Halloween, marking the first time since 1948 that anyone has slept in the Transylvanian fortress.

The Habsburg family today said it wanted to sell a Transylvanian castle famous for its connections to the 15th century medieval ruler who inspired Dracula for €59.6m, to the local authorities, an attorney said.

Robert Moog, whose self-named synthesisers turned electric currents into sound and opened the musical wave that became electronica, has died. He was 71.
