After 139 days of round-the-clock sit-ins, the former employees of Vita Cortex have finally secured a severance deal with their former employer which will allow them to go home within a fortnight.

TALKS aimed at ending a month-long sit-in by the Vita Cortex workers in Cork will resume on Friday after they finished last night without a resolution.

IN less than two weeks, dad Ger O’Flynn will be the father of twins.

Some 30 workers are continuing their sit-in today at a Co Cork company from which they have been made redundant.

“WE’RE not giving up without a fight.”
