Irish road racing volunteer Dr John Hinds (35), an anaesthetist at Craigavon Hospital in Co Armagh, died at Beaumont Hospital on July 4 2015 following a road crash.

The man accused of murdering Irish student Nicola Furlong in Tokyo last year has taken the stand at his trial.

"I don't see myself following in the footsteps of Liam, Pierce and Gabriel. I'm not driven by ambition to be a star. I'm just a spinner of other people's stories", says Ciaran Hinds.
