Hundreds of angry protesters marched in a town in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir today after two civilians were killed in a gunbattle between Islamic militants and army soldiers.

Indian soldiers traded gunfire with Islamic militants during a clash in India’s part of Kashmir that killed one soldier and critically wounded another, the army said today.
