Undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor is set to head back to this side of the Atlantic in November to kick off an assault on a second weight class.

World lightweight champion Katie Taylor will put her IBF/WBA titles on the line against American journeywoman Kimberly Connor at the O2 Arena in London next month.

Katie Taylor, the IBF and WBA lightweight champion, is “ready to fight” on July 28 despite the shooting of father Peter in her hometown of Bray this week.

Katie Taylor is set to return to the ring on September 22 and may have the chance to win her third world lightweight title.
