LIBYA lifted a visa ban on citizens of 25 European countries on Saturday after holder of the EU presidency, Spain, said a Swiss-instigated visa blacklist against 188 Libyans in those countries had been scrapped.

French prosecutors will take legal action against the youngest son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi for his allegedly violent rampage at a Paris hotel, judicial officials said tonight.

Police were investigating Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi’s youngest son after he allegedly injured his pregnant companion and damaged a hotel room in a rampage.
