Murdered former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri will be awarded this year’s Tipperary International Peace Award at a ceremony in Co Tipperary on Friday, it emerged today.

A former security chief detained in the investigation into Rafik Hariri’s assassination was admitted to hospital with a heart problem today, Lebanese security officials said.
