Europe’s banking and medical oversight agencies are seen as the first tangible spoils that the remaining EU 27 countries will secure from Brexit.

Almost all EU countries are likely to bid to host the two major regulatory agencies that have to be relocated from London, setting up a potential squabble between the 27 remaining members that have so far shown a united front on Brexit.

Health Minister Simon Harris will today travel to London to try to convince the European Medicines Agency of the merits of relocating to Dublin.
