State documents show the Government was uncertain on how to prosecute an Irish soldier accused of the murder of three of his colleagues in Lebanon in 1982.

A FORMER Irish solider who killed three of his colleagues while on duty in the Lebanon in 1982 has been released from prison in Antrim.

Reports that a triple-killer may be extradited from a Dublin prison to the North is disturbing relatives of his victims, Justice Minister Michael McDowell said tonight.
