A woman has been charged with two counts of manslaughter, and one of arson, following a fire in which two men died, in the Cork town of Mallow.

Gardaí are still waiting to speak to a man and woman who remain in hospital following a fire which claimed the lives of two men in a Co Cork apartment.

Gardaí obtained a court order last night allowing them to carry out forensic examinations for a further 24 hours at an apartment block where a fire killed two men in their 30s.
