Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai accused the United Nations and the international community of interfering in the country’s fraud-marred election and seeking to weaken his authority.

A PARTIAL recount in last month’s Afghan presidential election will cover more than 10% of polling stations, the head of a UN-backed watchdog said yesterday.
