A Wexford man who stabbed his sister’s boyfriend to death in a vicious row, during which part of the accused’s ear was bitten off, has been found not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with assault in connection with a fatal stabbing in Wexford yesterday.

A man is due to appear today before Wexford District Court in connection with the death of a 20-year-old man.

The man stabbed to death in Wexford earlier today has been named by gardai.
