BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair pledged his personal commitment to animal testing yesterday as he stepped up moves to root out extremists.

Three members of a “lunatic fringe” animal rights group were jailed for 12 years each in the UK today for their parts in a terror campaign, during which the body of an 82-year-old woman was stolen from her grave.

THE family of a woman whose body was stolen from a graveyard have received hate mail from animal rights extremists claiming to be in possession of her remains, it emerged yesterday.
