The Court of Criminal Appeal has upheld the 14-year sentence handed down to a Kerry man who killed a man he found in bed with his brother’s teenage ex-girlfriend.

The two brothers on trial for murdering a man known as ‘English Jim’ in Killarney were found not guilty of murder and guilty of manslaughter this evening.

The prosecution closed its case today against two Kerry brothers accused of murdering a man known as ‘English Jim’ in Killarney as the jury was told that blood of the dead man and of one of the accused was found on a knife.
