The editor of USA Today – the biggest selling newspaper in the United States - has quit under a cloud of plagiarism and fabrication by star reporter Jack Kelley.

THE New York Times yesterday named Bill Keller as executive editor, more than a month after the newspaper’s top editors resigned following a plagiarism scandal.
