ERIC Lisson is not in the least bit disingenuous when revealing he and his six-man crew expected to win this year’s BMW Round Ireland Race.

A GRAND total of 85 boats turned out for the opening race of the C.H. Marine Autumn League at the Royal Cork YC in Crosshaven where the skippers and crews just could not have had it any better.

SPLENDID warm sunshine and gentle breezes gave perfect conditions for the skippers and crews on the 140 boats which took to the water for the second race of the C.H. Marine Autumn League series at Royal Cork, boosted because this was also the final race of the SCORA season long leagues.
