An activist charged with the murder of her partner, Tyrone McKenna, in Dublin last week is being assessed in the Central Mental Hospital, a court heard yesterday.

A man described as the “black sheep” of his family has been given a suspended sentenced for storing more than 4,000 ecstasy tablets in the house he shared with his grandmother.
