A youth will be sentenced next week for attempting to intimidate a victim, who had part of his ear bitten off, to drop the charges.

A man who harassed his ex-partner and her boyfriend as he was unwilling to accept the demise of his relationship with her is to be sentenced later at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A 17-year-old boy, who lashed out at a garda with a wooden baton during a crimewave, has been given a 10-month sentence, by Judge Ann Ryan at the Dublin Children’s Court.
