Sentencing of a 17-year-old girl, who attacked two gardaí following an early morning drink and drugs binge, has been adjourned by Judge Hugh O'Donnell at the Dublin Children's Court.

A 17-year-old boy who believed that drink spiked with drugs resulted in his taking part in a mini crime wave, has been further remanded on bail pending sentencing.

A 22-year-old man who wielded a steak knife and large fork during an hour-long stand off with gardaí has being sentenced to two years and six months at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
