Two gardaí on trial for perverting the course of justice were cleared of all charges at Cork Circuit Criminal Court today.

A STUDENT who took off a garda’s hat in Cork city centre ended up being knocked unconscious by the officer and left bleeding on the ground.

IN these days of Garda bashing in the media and elsewhere I would like to put on record my thanks to three gardaí who helped me recently in Cork city.
