A 36-year-old Blarney man appeared at Cork District Court yesterday by video link from prison on charges related to a €10,000 drugs seizure by gardaí last week.

A Ballincollig man jailed earlier this year for a carefully planned drug-dealing operation returned to court yesterday declaring that he wanted his money back.

Gardaí secured a warrant to search a pub based on confidential information in relation to alleged drugs and they found small quantities of cannabis resin and grass in a bedroom used by the bar manager.
