St Munchin’s qualified for their third successive Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup final at Thomond Park with an impressive if somewhat flattering 38-15 victory over Limerick neighbors Ardscoil Ris.

Munchin's included Gordon Wood and Tony Foley, sons of Munster legends Keith and Anthony, in their squad.

Rockwell College bridged a 22-year gap as they won the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup for the 20th time with a superb performance over defending champions St. Munchin’s College at Musgrave Park this afternoon.

Champions, St Munchin’s, had to withstand a magnificent late rally from Castletroy to edge home 21-15 in the opening Clayton Hotels Munster Schools’ Junior Cup semi-final at Thomond Park yesterday.

IRELAND half-back pair Sam Cronin and Barry Keeshan will be keen to return to some unfinished business when they face their Scottish counterparts in a Club International at Donnybrook tonight (7pm).
