In the Waterford-based Raven’s Rock Rally, with fastest times on all of the first four stages, Derry’s Kevin Lynch and co-driver Gordon Noble in a Subaru WRC have amassed a lead of 44 seconds over the Subaru of Dunlop National Rally Championship leaders Niall Maguire and Paul McLaughlin, who are a further 14 seconds ahead of the Subaru of Jim Harrison and Harvey Bell.

Cork’s John McCarthy/Dan Maguire made an impressive start to the KBB Doors National Forest Championship with a dominant victory in the Suirway Lifts Carrick on Suir Forest Rally. Debuting a Subaru Impreza 555, they controlled the rally from the opening stage.

The Buy & Sell Circuit of Ireland Rally was won by Andrew Nesbitt and co-driver, James O’Brien.

Paul Harris/Eugene O'Donnell, in their Auto Fast Fit Subaru Impreza swept to a comprehensive victory in the Milford Inn Hotel Donegal Rally.
