A GRAND total of 85 boats turned out for the opening race of the C.H. Marine Autumn League at the Royal Cork YC in Crosshaven where the skippers and crews just could not have had it any better.

OLYMPIC sailor Mark Mansfield burst into the Glaxo SmithKline winter series at the Royal Cork YC and showed a clean stern to the twenty-three boat fleet in the second race of the event.

Racing at Ford Cork Week has finally drawn to a close and the huge operation will wind down and by Sunday the tented village will have disappeared and it will be as if nothing had taken place.
