WITH reference to Fr Con McGillicuddy’s letter (‘Churchmen castigated for not being perfect’, March 30), I feel it would be impossible to operate the legal and criminal justice systems if there was a requirement that all its administrators had to be “without sin”.

THE logic in Fr Con McGillicuddy’s argument for a designed universe (Letters, September 17) is actually very difficult to see. There are a number of problems with his argument.

I FOUND it gently amusing to read Fr Con McGillicuddy’s argument for a grand design based supposedly on a ‘commonsense’ view of the annual motion of planet earth and its supposed benefits for us lucky humans (Letters, September 17).
