THE country’s €2.5 billion livestock industry will be brought to a halt if a case of bluetongue virus is confirmed here, Agriculture Minister Mary Coughlan disclosed at the National Ploughing Championships at Annaharvey, Tullamore, Co Offaly, yesterday.
