FESS PARKER, who launched a craze for coonskin caps while playing famous American pioneers Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone, has died of natural causes. He was 85.

BUDDY EBSEN, the Broadway dancer who achieved stardom and riches in the TV series The Beverly Hillbillies and Barnaby Jones, has died at the age of 95.
