A student stole computers from his university because he wanted to design a computer game called Angry Pigs to rival the popular Angry Birds, a court has heard.

A court has heard how a DCU student broke his leg after jumping from a computer lab window while trying to steal computers to design a game to rival Angry Birds.

A university student - who jumped out of a window and broke his leg in an attempt to escape security guards - was stealing computers because he wanted to design a computer game called “Angry Pigs” to rival the popular “Angry Birds“, a court has heard.
