RATTLIN GOLDSTAR and Razldazl Will renew rivalry in the second round of the Comerford Cakes National Puppy Stake at Shelbourne Park this evening.

THERE were some superb performances in the opening round of the Comerford Cakes National Puppy Stake, although initially there were few major changes in the betting.

SOME Florida sun shone on Curraheen Park on Saturday night as Fr Bryan Dalton’s Deerfield Music and Deerfield Sings gave the US-based owner a double in the quarter-finals of the Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels. Both are trained by Mossie O’Connor.

HAVING gone almost overboard with my reaction to his early puppy runs at Shelbourne, I was pleased to see the Pat Buckley trained Slick Seattle finally live up to the rating with a superb 28.16 run in Monday’s unscheduled third session of the Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park.
