Linda Mulhall has lost a bid to bring a Supreme Court challenge to her 15-year sentence for killing her mother's boyfriend.

THE sentence handed down for the killing of Celine Cawley was influenced by two notorious cases: Wayne O’Donoghue and Linda Mulhall.

Dublin woman, Charlotte Mulhall, who bludgeoned her mother’s African boyfriend to death and cut up his body, was today jailed for life.
