A goal five minutes into injury time by Tipperary and Borris-Ileigh teenage star James ('JD') Devaney gave Our Lady’s Templemore the narrowest of victories over Thurles CBS in the Tipperary Derby in the Dr Harty Cup at The Ragg.

Sixty minutes plus injury-time, 20 minutes of extra-time, another 10 minutes of "extra" extra-time, and still these brave teams couldn't be separated as they put everything they had into trying to earn a place in this year's Harty Cup semi-final.

Both teams were already assured of progress to the Harty Cup quarter-finals thanks to comprehensive beatings of Castletroy College earlier on, but it was Christians who sent out the loudest message of intent at Bansha as they powered their way to another heavy victory.
