A woman who set fire to a house, causing the death of a disabled grandmother, has been jailed for 12 years, with the last four suspended at Dundalk Circuit Criminal Court.

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a suspicious house fire in Drogheda, Co Louth last year in which an elderly woman was seriously injured and subsequently died.
