THE DIRECTOR of Public Prosecutions has made an unprecedented decision to prosecute a sitting circuit court judge arising out of a major garda investigation into child pornography.

A bride-to-be, who suffered food poisoning after having eaten a chicken curry takeaway, has accepted a settlement of more than €30,000 from BQ House Restaurant, Upper Kennelsfort Road Upper, Palmerstown, Dublin.

A judge whose home was raided in a garda operation aimed at stamping out internet child pornography has been ordered to hear no more cases until the investigation is over.
