Trad group De Dannan have planned a one-off reunion for this year’s World Fleadh Festival, it was announced today.

One of Ireland’s biggest traditional music festivals kicked off in Portlaoise today, unveiling a seven-day line-up of more than 600 musicians in over 20 venues.

AROUND 25,000 people are expected to throng the north Kerry seaside resort of Ballybunion this weekend for the concerts and fringe events of the World Fleadh.

ONE of the country’s top seaside resorts is set to come alive to the sounds of an international Irish and Celtic music festival next month.

AROUND 50,000 people are expected to flock to Kerry this summer for a new seven-day international festival.
