The world’s oldest person has dies in a nursing home in Japan at the age of 114, an official said today.

Emma Faust Tillman, whose life spanned three centuries and 21 US presidencies, died last night at a nursing home in Hartford, Connecticut, the facility’s administrator said.

THE world’s oldest person, Emiliano Mercado del Toro, died yesterday at his home on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, a relative said. He was 115.
