COMMERCIAL sea plane flights between Dublin and the mid-west were given official approval yesterday.

APPLICATIONS will be made shortly for landing and take-off rights for seaplanes in the harbours of Cork and Limerick.

PLANS are being drawn up to provide the south-west with a sea plane service by the end of next summer.
