Last week’s deportation of a Nigerian student should have been postponed until after his Leaving Cert exams in June, a church leader claimed today.

JUSTICE Minister Michael McDowell said he intends to bring in a specific offence for people who obstruct or assault emergency workers who are trying to save a life.
