A young man who stabbed his best friend ten times in the neck was today found guilty of murder and jailed for life.

A STATE-FUNDED life assurance and mortgage protection scheme for people infected with hepatitis or HIV from contaminated blood products has been launched by the Government.

THE Government is providing €90 million to help about 1,700 victims of the blood contamination scandal.
