A STUDENT who hurled a fire extinguisher off the roof during a riot that engulfed the British Conservative Party’s headquarters was jailed for 32 months yesterday.

An 18-year-old student admitted today that he threw an empty fire extinguisher off the roof of Millbank tower during tuition fee riots outside Conservative Party headquarters in London.

A student will appear in court today accused of throwing a fire extinguisher from a seventh floor rooftop during the Millbank riot.
