Secondary school teachers are set to resume pickets after union leaders voted to reject a pay deal.

A major question mark now hangs over the Leaving and Junior Cert oral exams following the rejection by the ASTI of Labour Court proposals on its pay dispute with the Government.

A delegation from the ASTI has handed in a letter to the Taoiseach's office in their continuing fight for more pay.
