'Fighting' is a gritty, but ultimately disappointing and all-too predictable tale of the sleazy world of underground fighting in New York where a young, down-on-his-luck scrapper Shawn (Tatum) is taken up by scam artist Harvey (Howard) who acts as his dodgy manager and puts all their money on an opponent in a vital fight.

A poignant Irish short documentary film in which a filmmaker explores his mother's unique take on her overweight and aging body has received an honourable mention at the Sundance Film Festival.
