Former N-Dubz singer Dappy told police he slapped a man in self-defence as he lived in constant fear he might be stabbed, a court has heard.

N-Dubz rapper Dappy will have his case heard in the Crown Court after being charged with affray over a fight at a petrol station which left three men with serious facial injuries.
