A father who threw his six-year-old son to his death from a hotel balcony in Greece was cleared of murder today.

A father accused of murdering his six-year-old son by leaping off a fourth-floor hotel balcony today told a Greek court he “did not plan” to kill his children.

John Hogan, the father accused of killing his son when he plunged 50ft from a hotel balcony, today denied murder, telling a court in Crete: "I do not accept the charge that I planned to kill my children."
